Well tonight we finally got up to see Dad, he is still sleeping, he mumbled something when I told him to wake up that was all. Dad has been sleeping now for almost 4 days. They are checking his CT to see if his temperature is being caused by a neurological condition instead of an actual infection. At this point his brain has put his body to sleep, so all he has to do is concentrate on healing.
On the good side though, The RT put Dads ventilator in the CPAP mode (just like his breathing machine at home) at 8:30 this morning and has been doing quite well on that. He is not coughing nor or they having to suction his lungs as much.
We just have to be patient and keep the prayers and positive thoughts flowing
