Dad is starting to show some improvement. He is talking more and making more sense when he is. He is able to tell us what is going on and what he wants or needs. The staff found out today about "Oh man" and "C'mon".... they also asked me about "Robert", they called and said he was frustrated and wanted "Robert", so I went up and and talked to him and got him straightened out. Dad was concerned he was in a nursing home. Later in the day he wanted his nurse to call Tim and Sue to let them know he wouldn't be at work today.
As far as Dads medical condition he is getting a antibiotic drip for his infection. His sugar is being tested every four hours now, and is holding where it should be. Hopefully as the infection recedes his confusion will be less.
