Not much change today, Dad is still in ICU, he is doing fine. He says "it feels like my ribs are broke" his biggest complaint is his throat hurts. Dad is very disoriented and confused. He is eating well and should be up to regular food tomorrow.
Mom is doing well, she is holding up well and finally getting some sleep, so she is starting to feel better too. She was quite shaken up and scared, Uncle Bob and Aunt Dee were here along with Don and Bruce so Mom had a decent support system. The operation took about 5-1/2 hours and went quite smoothly, Dad has lost Friday but, he remembers wearing Uncle Bobs hat over his hospital hair net.
