Dad had a great day; Mom, Don and I went to see him this morning, They put Dad in a wheel-chair so we could take him outdoors! He really seemed to enjoy himself. We went around the block and checked out the hospital, when we got done he was exhausted. He is starting to talk more and he is getting more understandable it is still hard to understand at times. We were told to make him talk more and not accept a nod or shake as easily. I guess just getting Dad to communicate in anyway was good.
He will finish his swallow test tomorrow, if all goes well he COULD be eating by the end of the week. We just have to wait and be patient. I know that is hard for everyone, not just his family.
Dad seems to be going in the right direction and making good time getting there.
