Not much change in Dads progress today. His vitals are staying stable and his temp is staying normal, so that all is good. They are keeping his ventilator in the CPAP mode and he has been doing fine on that, tomorrow they will try and reduce pressure to continue to wean him. Basically, internally Dad seems to be improving and healing quite well.
Dad will open his eyes and look in the direction of a voice in his room, but he won't respond to any commands. At this point we can't be sure what, if anything is registering to him. There doesn't seem to be any other reaction (other than reflex) to any external stimulus. We all need to just pray he can get through this latest hurdle. Hopefully it is like they are saying this is his body's way of concentrating on healing his brain.
