I am posting late, again. But no news is good news right??
Dad is doing quite well, he is getting easier to understand everyday. His vocabulary is almost normal, he just has problems with many words, Most of the time he has certain words that he uses most of the time. He is beginning to worry about day to day things. Mom and I keep telling him everything is fine and not to worry, but, Dad is still concerned. He wanted to know about the "spaghetti money" (from the benefit) we told him it was put up and they would use when they needed to.
We took Penny to see him, she was happy but confused. She sat with him on his wheelchair and looked around. When Dad rubbed her belly she snuggled in and he felt better after that. He says he understands that she hasn't seen him in a long time, so she is a little nervous.
I did see when they were doing his transfer that he does try to help some and he makes an effort to lean and try to lift himself, so he is improving.
