Dad seemed to be more upbeat today,he understands that he is not ready to come home yet, nor are we ready for him at this level of ability. We are looking at a few short term rehab centers, we need them to have the skill level that Dad requires so he can continue his improvement. Everyone at Covenant is very pleased with the progress he has made, as are we. This next stage Dad will be able to have Penny come see more and spend alot more time with him. We will also be able to take him out for the day to do things with us.
Dad asked what he could have done to cause this to happen, we explained to him that there was nothing he could have done differently to avoid this, he replied "I guess, whats done is done"
We will let you all know where he his going to as soon as we know, it will probably be either Friday or Monday.
Please keep the prayers and positive thoughts flowing his way, he still has a long fight..
