Today went rather well for Dad, they didn't do his tracheotomy as of yet,Dr Field was in surgery all day. They X-Rayed his lungs again while we were there this evening, as long as there is no problem we will find out how they are doing in the AM. Dad was responsive when we first got to his room this evening,then he dozed back off. The nurse explained that he is getting Fentanyl to keep him sedated and relaxed. They are going to give him something (I'm not sure what) to help break up the clots and move some fluids to try and get rid of some of the swelling in Dads arms and legs.
I know many of you would like to see Dad, you are welcome to, please stop by the nurses station and check what we are allowed to do (ie: touch, talk, etc) Also in Dads room is a book could any- one who visits him please sign and date it.
If they do anything with him tonight I will post again
