Today we had a scary set-back, Blood clots in Dads legs started breaking loose and moving to his lungs, along with pneumonia this was not a good combination. Around 3:00 they took him down and through his jugular inserted a "Greenfield Filter" (also called an IVF) into the area wear his leg arteries meet,the filter will break up the clots as they come loose, so his body can finish breaking them down. He came through this process fine.
(6:30 pm) Dads nurse (Chris) just called and told us his oxygen level is already rising so they can start weaning his ventilator. Dad is still scheduled for his tracheotomy tomorrow but we don't know what time yet.
Even though Dad seems to have taken a step or two backwards, he still is progressing well please keep up the prayers and postive thoughts.
