I apologize for not posting last night, I had an issue with my router, computers are great til you can't use them.
Dad seems to be doing better, He was alert, and doesn't seem as anxious, he had a very busy day. My Uncles Bob and Jim, Aunts Dee, Helen, Nancy and Susan were all up to see him. While they were there he would respond, try to talk and smile. By the end of the visits he was tired and ready to sleep.
Dads lungs are clearing up quite well, he isn't coughing as much, nor are the nurse able to get as much when they suction his lungs, his fever seems to be under control also. Maybe he finally has this pneumonia beat. There is a cardiologist keeping an eye on his heart rate which has been elevated though.
I have had several people ask about visiting Dad. I know many of you miss him. At this stage, it is hard to say when he will be alert or up to visitors. Please contact me or one of his siblings, we can let you know if he is up to it. Dad is at Select Care which is on the 8th floor of Covenant Harrison Campus, in Saginaw.
