Dad is continuing to show improvement, he is not breathing as hard and his heart beat has stayed normal. These are all good signs, although he is still worn down and having a hard time communicating. Seems like we have taken quite a few steps backwards, hopefully it is not a permanent condition.
He is trying to talk more, although sometimes it seems he is in a different conversation than the rest of us. Dad says he wants to get out of there "come hell or water". I never thought he would look forward to going back to the facility. Dad just knows when he gets back there he is closer to getting home.
We should know by tomorrow morning when he will be going back or if he needs to go to Bay Care Center, if he needs more care than HHCR can give him at the moment. They came in today and evaluated him and we will be informed as soon as they hear anything.
We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully its not a train....
