Dad had a great day!! He is coming around so much. This evening while we were with Dad, Dr. Ahmed stopped to see him, we discussed how things were progressing, Dad asked how his heart was doing... Doctor said the pressure is coming off as his pneumonia regresses. Dad said he felt better, now he "needs something new to worry about". Yes, his sense of humor is returning.
Dad is getting Physical and Occupational Therapy for the second day now and it seems to have helped the pain in his leg. He says he is sleeping well at night and feeling better during the day.
Dads appetite has finally leveled out. He told me tonight when we were filling out his menu, we didn't need to order as much he is getting to full.
Things are really beginning to look up for him finally; let's hope he can stay on this road for a long while, he is looking at probably two more weeks at BSC and he may have a few extra weeks at HHCR beyond the two that was expected. Dad understands that it is all for the better, so hopefully it works out.
